Warranty Requirements

These requirements ensure proper installation, care, and maintenance of all GalvStone products, keeping your warranty valid and your surfaces performing as intended.

To activate your warranty, customers must:

  • Register their product online within 30 days of installation.
  • Provide proof of purchase, the installation date, the product type, and the installer’s information.
  • Confirmation email activating your warranty.

Approved Installation Standards

All GalvStone products—porcelain tables, marble tables, vanities, sinks, and Holden Deck & Dock systems—installation must follow the following guidelines:

Professional Installation

  • A qualified professional with experience must install the specific product category.
  • DIY installations may void certain warranty protections.

Installation Guidelines

  • Product installation must follow GalvStone’s official installation instructions, including frame requirements, support placement, leveling, anchoring, and recommended adhesives/fasteners.
  • Improper structural support, off-spec framing, or modification of product components voids the warranty.

Deck & Dock Systems

  • Installation of Holden systems must use GalvStone’s approved hot-dipped galvanized steel framing or GalvStone-certified powder-coated frames. Cannot use materials from other manufacturers.
  • Spans, joist spacing, post placement, and attachment methods must comply with GalvStone engineered specifications.
  • Must comply with local building codes and environmental regulations.

Proper Use & Care

To maintain coverage:

Porcelain Surfaces

  • Clean with only mild, non-abrasive cleaners.
  • Avoid impact damage from heavy or sharp objects.
  • Do not apply aftermarket coatings or sealants.

Marble Products

  • Use a pH-neutral cleaner; avoid acids or harsh chemicals.
  • We recommend that you professionally seal your Marble upon installation and reseal it as needed.
  • Damage from etching, staining, or the use of improper cleaners is not covered.

Vanities & Sinks

  • Ensure proper anchoring to studs or appropriate structural support.
  • A licensed plumber must install plumbing connections.
  • Water damage due to leaks or improper sealing is not covered.

Deck & Dock Systems

  • Follow GalvStone’s recommended maintenance schedule, including inspections every 1–2 years.
  • Do not exceed load ratings or modify the frame configuration.
  • Ensure proper drainage around posts and supports.

Exclusions & Non-Covered Conditions

Your warranty will not cover:

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation or failure to follow guidelines.
  • Natural stone characteristics (marble veining, variations, patina).
  • Improper cleaning agents, sealants, or surface treatments.
  • Abuse, impact damage, burns, vandalism, accidents, or acts of nature (flood, fire, tornado, hurricane, unless installed to code).
  • Alterations, modifications, or use of non-GalvStone parts.
  • Normal wear and tear.
