Proper Use Ensures Longevity, Safety & Warranty Protection

GalvStone products are engineered for exceptional durability and performance. To maintain
structural integrity, aesthetic quality, and warranty eligibility, all products must be used
following the guidelines below.

Installation Requirements

Porcelain & Marble Products

  • Make sure the installation is on a level, solid surface.
  • It is highly recommended that tables, vanities, and sinks be installed by professionals.
  • Use adhesives, brackets, and mounting systems that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Floating vanities must be firmly attached to studs or an equivalent structural support.

Holden Deck & Dock Systems

  • Installation must adhere to GalvStone’s official engineering specifications.
  • Only approved galvanized steel framing components and porcelain slabs are permitted for use in the construction.
  • Site-specific engineering might be necessary, considering factors like spans, wind loads, and water exposure.
  • Additionally, all decks and docks must comply with local, state, and marine building codes.

Porcelain Tables

  • Indoor or outdoor dining
  • Suitable for both commercial and residential use
  • Ideal for high-traffic areas
  • Heat-resistant applications (within specified product limits)

Marble Tables

  • Designed for indoor dining or display
  • Light outdoor use in covered, non-freezing environments
  • Suitable for decorative furniture applications

Floating Vanities & Sinks

  • Appropriate for residential or commercial bathrooms
  • Recommended for dry, climate-controlled areas
  • Requires compatible plumbing fixtures only

Holden Deck & Dock Systems

  • Ideal for residential and commercial decks
  • Suitable for lakeside, riverside, and marina docks
  • Perfect for rooftop terraces
  • Designed for hospitality and restaurant outdoor zones
  • Usable in walkways, platforms, and public outdoor spaces

Prohibited Uses

Using GalvStone products in any of the following ways may void your warranty:

Porcelain & Marble Products

Avoid the following actions to protect your surfaces:

  • Dragging heavy or abrasive objects across the surface.Standing or jumping on tables.
  • Using acidic or solvent-based cleaners that are not intended for stone or porcelain.
  • Exposing marble surfaces to prolonged freeze-thaw conditions outdoors.
  • Placing hefty appliances or industrial equipment on vanities or tables.

Floating Vanities & Sinks

  • Exceeding weight limits on drawers or countertops.
  • Using unapproved brackets or mounting hardware.
  • Installing in high-moisture areas without adequate ventilation.

Holden Deck & Dock

  • Unauthorized structural modifications include attaching additional structures such as gazebos, pergolas, hot tubs, and heavy planters without engineering approval.
  • Submerging steel framing components in saltwater without protective coatings is prohibited.
  • The use of third-party porcelain, pavers, or deck boards is not allowed.
  • Additionally, exceeding span lengths beyond certified engineering requirements is not permitted.

Maintenance & Care

Porcelain Products

  • Use only pH-neutral cleaners for cleaning.
  • Do not use abrasive pads, wire brushes, or harsh chemicals.
  • Resealing is unnecessary.

Marble Products

  • Seal regularly every 6 to 12 months.
  • Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining.
  • Avoid using lemon, vinegar, wine, coffee, and acidic cleaners.

Holden Deck & Dock

  • Conduct an annual inspection for loose hardware or unusual movement.
  • Clean porcelain surfaces using mild detergent and water.
  • Avoid using pressure washers exceeding 1,500 PSI on porcelain slabs.
  • Remove snow and ice with only plastic shovels.

Environmental Conditions

  • Porcelain products are resistant to UV light and frost.
  • Marble products should not be subjected to repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
  • Holden Deck & Dock frames are designed for coastal environments; however, they may need marine-grade coatings for use in saltwater applications.
  • Floating vanities should not be installed in areas with standing water or humidity levels exceeding 60% for extended periods.

Safety Guidelines

  • Do not permit children to climb or hang on tables or vanities.
  • Avoid modifying structural components such as frames, beams, or support brackets.
  • For decks and docks, always check local regulations regarding guardrails, height, and load requirements.

Product Registration

Warranty protection requires the following:

  • Registering your product within 30 days of installation or delivery, providing proof of purchase, uploading installation photos for deck or dock systems, and accepting the warranty terms and conditions.

Commercial Use Requirements

Commercial installations must adhere to:

  • Proper load calculations
  • ADA compliance, where applicable
  • Fire and safety regulations
  • Installation methods approved by licensed contractors

Modifications & Repairs

  • Only replacements, hardware, or structural components approved by GalvStone may be used.
  • Unauthorized modifications, such as drilling, cutting, or altering steel framing, will automatically void the warranty.
